Murphy's Love

More love poetry satire. This is how I express my affection to Chadwick.

Murphy's Love

I wished upon a falling star--
It fell instead on me.
I gathered stardust from the wreck--
It burned like scalding tea!

I place a message in a bottle--
I spoke of hope and love.
I sent an olive branch into the sky--
Winged by a snow white dove.

My bottle danced upon the waves
With pirouette and leap,
It crashed upon pristine white sands--
My love littered the deep.

The dove flew high across the sea,
And found my lover's bed,
It perch upon his brazen bedpost--
And pooped upon his head.
